The Corporate Services Section comprises of five (5) of the eleven (11) Divisions which make up the Corporate & Support Services Wing of the Parliamentary Service.
These are: Human Resource, Finance, Corporate Planning & Management, Information & Communication Technology and Policy & Research.
The primary function of the section is to provide sound and timely corporate policy advice to the Clerk and Deputy Clerk-Corporate & Support Services, and to ensure the effective management of the Corporate Services Divisions.
The Executive Director-Corporate Services oversees the Section and reports to the Deputy Clerk-Corporate & Support Services.
Functions
- Ensure strategic human resource management and sound personnel management
- Ensure strategic corporate planning and management of work programs
- Ensure all Parliamentary Service work activties are aligned with the budget
- Ensure the Parliamentary Service Accounting system and the preparation of the Organization Annual Budget
- Ensure the effective management of the Parliamentary Service Staff payroll
- Ensure the Organization’s access to effective information technology services
- Play a strategic role to meet expected work output in order to achieve the strategic objectives of the Parliamentary Service.
